Here you will find some snippets of Andy performing in his Sydney based duo Hooray For Everything along with his singing partner Nicolette Kenny. Andy and Nicolette have been performing in Hooray For Everything for over twenty years and have become one of Sydney’s most sort after duos, having played thousands of gigs in almost every venue in Sydney, as well as providing entertainment at numerous corporate functions for their happy clients.

Hooray For Everything’s song list has included well over five hundred songs in this period and Andy has learnt to play each and every one of them on the guitar. Learning and performing these tunes has given Andy the unique ability to listen and learn a song very quickly and accurately.

The ability to learn a song so quickly and accurately comes from years of listening carefully to songs he was required to learn whilst playing in the numerous bands he has been involved in. This ability has developed his ear to such a level, Andy can hear a song on the radio in the car, and know how to play it by the time he is home!

These skills are the backbone to his teaching style as students can suggest a song to learn, and if Andy does not already know it, he certainly will in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. This saves valuable lesson time meaning students benefit from a more concise and efficient session learning the song of their choosing.
